Red Earth, often called Jory, is a source of grounding, regeneration, connection and nervous system regulation;
I coined the phrase "Red Earth Wellness Way" as an approach to life and healing. The rich color and healing properties of red earth compel and inspire my work as a holistic practitioner, fine artist, mama and marketer.​
I am a mama to a sweet toddler boy, North Carolina Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist NC #23217 with emphasis on Craniosacral Therapy, future Chinese Medicine Doctor (late 2026), fine artist & marketer passionate about helping you access your deepest wellbeing and aliveness.
My partner Dr. Christopher Whyrick & I practice in a shared space in beautiful Swannanoa, NC and offer individual or collaborative care based on what best suits your needs; learn about our work here.

WHAT I PRACTICE: Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle form of bodywork that uses light touch, working mostly around the head, spine and sacrum to support the natural rhythm of the central nervous system. It creates space for the body to unwind and recalibrate, helping soften patterns of strain the body has been holding onto. When called for, I will also incorporate Cupping, Gua Sha and Shiatsu massage as it suits my clients’ needs.
WHO I LOVE SUPPORTING: my work is especially rooted in supporting women in mind body spirit wellness, whether that is offering support through life transitions, grief, pain, stress, the pre and postpartum seasons, peri and post menopause, tricky to identify autoimmune challenges, those moments where you are simply ready for deep nourishment and that “I’m not in this alone” energy, and also if you are feeling quite well but want a restorative and preventative boost!
HOW I GOT HERE: walking through my own women’s health (gynecological challenges including chronic bladder pain & BV symptoms) and mental health challenges (including extreme depressive & ADHD-like symptoms) in my twenties shifted the trajectory of my life. Experiencing holistic modalities like Craniosacral Therapy, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine firsthand inspired a profound health turnaround and ultimately led me into over a decade of graduate study beginning in 2015 centered around the nervous system and whole body balance, addressing the root of issues through more natural philosophies both stemming from Ancient Chinese Medicine practices and Osteopathy (which is what Craniosacral Therapy was born out of)!

In addition to my Craniosacral offer, my partner Dr. Whyrick is currently taking new patients in Chinese Medicine practicing Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture and a range of holistic modalities to meet you where you are. He works with all ages offering holistic perspective and support.
We are both passionate about helping our clients and patients discover their true health and potential, having both first hand experienced the success of these therapies in our own lives when other approaches did not touch the root of the issue.

Optimal Hydration
Water has been a signifiant part of my own healing, both in the natural world and in finding balance with the amount of water and type of water I drink. I became a hydration specialist in 2020 and help clients with the whole process from pre-filtration to ionization.
